Summary

The article discusses tight connections between Latvia and Estonia that help both countries to maintain cultural, business, diplomatic, educational relations, and that make people of both countries feel closer to each other. Latvians support Estonians and Estonians support Latvians, and the task of the Baltic States, as seen by the author of the article, is to preserve positive atmosphere among their people. The Baltic States are relatively small countries which share similar destiny and people feel that their country should always assist their neighbours in some way. That is how the real friendship among countries is born.
