4th Project Coordination Meeting in Riga

“We are pleased to announce that the 4th Project Coordination Meeting 
of representatives of consortium members within Tempus IV Project 
544117-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-HR-TEMPUS-JPCR InterEULawEast will be held on 
30th March 2015 at Socialo Tehnologiju Augstskola Riga, Latvia at 10 o’ 
clock.

Further discussions on master programme implementation, scholarship 
mechanism, local accreditation and dissemination tools are some of the 
topics of the Meeting.

December 15, 2014 in Riga held a workshop about improving the effectiveness of the Higher School of Social Technologies in the Project Tempus IV. The meeting was attended Tatiana Vlasova – project coordinator from Donetsk National University , Juris Zakis – Rector of the Higher School of Social Technologies, Irina Labeeva – Director of the Higher School of Social Technologies, Ilgvars Batrags – Pro-rector of the Higher School of Social Technologies, Igor Markovitch – project coordinator from Higher School of Social Technologies.

The meeting started at 11:00

The following questions were discussed:

1. Official introduction by the participants of the meeting.

2. Overall project aim, objectives and outcomes.

3. Obligations and responsibilities of the project's consortium members.

3. Double diploma programmes, curriculum of the new Master degree programme and its composition by the partners from Ukraine and Russia.

5. European universities coordination and supervision of the Master Degree Programme preparation, composition and evaluation.

6. Further involvement of Riga partners in the project implementation.

7. An appointment of a new contact person from Riga, Mr. Markovics. Error communications Prevention by the consortium members.

 

The following was agreed to be done: 

1. To send to Riga partners Grant agreement and Project documentation.

It was agreed that Grant Agreement and Project Documentation will be sent to Riga partners.

2. Participation of Mr Andris in the Project.

Mr Andris stated that he did not get efficient and sufficient information to be fully involved in the project and to continue working as a European partner. He did not understand a purpose and the objectives of the Project and the role of Riga in its implementation and development in terms of the project.

3. To provide Riga partners with the documentations on their role in the Project.

It was agreed that Project coordinatorswillprovide Riga partners with the documentations on their role in the Project. The detailed description of their role and functions must be composed and sent to Riga as it is stated in the Project proposals.

4. To improve communications between Riga and Odessa partners.

The necessity to improve communications between Riga and Odessa partners was emphasised, since Mr. Andris had only a short-term communications with Odessa.

5. To provide Master Programme description.

It was agreed that Project coordinators will send a Master Programme description to Riga partners. 

6. Monitoring reports.

It was decided that Project coordinators will send 2 monitoring reports to Riga partners.

7. Participation in meetings.

Project coordinator are supposed to provide Riga partners with the minutes of all the meetings, held so far, as well as details of all the contact persons. The contact emails are identified. The info about the next meeting must be sent off to Riga partners as well. Their role must be clearly identified.

8. A Sample of DNU report.

It was agreed that Mrs Sydorchuk will provide Riga partners with a sample of DNU Project report.

9. Update

It was agreed that Riga partners will be included into the circulation of e-mails on Project matters and updates. Conclusion of the meeting

 

It was mutually agreed to continue a cooperation in terms of the current Project in order to fulfil all the obligations and responsibilities in the Project.

 

The meeting was finished at 2 p.m.
